The 14th annual Run4Hunger Family Festival is a celebration of everything Elk Grove. We’ve expanded our 5k/10k race to include the new Youth Challenge Course (YCC) and  Food Bank Night at the Sacramento River Cats. There is something for everyone so come join us for a great cause on Saturday, June 23rd.

  5k & 10k run/walk

In its 14th year, the EG Run 4 Hunger is a flat, fast, certified course starting and finishing under the majestic old oak trees at Elk Grove Regional Park. Great course, great bling-finisher medals for all, and yummy refreshments.

 Youth Challenge Course

Crazy fun, unique, challenging  events for children 6-12 years old to tackle throughout Elk Grove Park.  Events in the YCC will be created and hosted by community businesses and associations including:

River Cats Baseball Game

Join us for Elk Grove Food Bank Night with our Sacramento River Cats taking on the El Paso Chihuahuas at 7:05pm. Proceeds from your ticket purchase go directly to support our community.

 

Festival

Our festival will showcase the many organizations that support our community including Sacramento SPCA, Elk Grove Youth Soccer League, and the School of Rock.

Raffle prize winners sponsored by the California State Fair, Sacramento RiverCats, Strikes Bowling and Dicks Sporting Goods and may more will be announced every 15 minutes. Attending the vendor festival is FREE!!
